Commenting on the first anniversary of the new railway station in East Linton, Douglas Alexander MP said:
“The new railway station at East Linton is a fantastic asset for the village and local people and it’s great to be able to celebrate its first year of operation.
“However, I know that concerns have been raised about the number of services currently calling at the station, particularly at times that would be beneficial for commuters.
“I believe that this should be considered by rail operators to ensure that the benefits of this new station can be maximised in future.”
