Douglas Alexander MP has joined local families, staff, volunteers and supporters at the Pennypit Community Development Trust’s Summer Family Fun Day at Preston Lodge High School.
The Summer Family Fun Day celebrates the Trust’s Holiday Hunger programmes across the PSG and Fa’side area which are run through the summer holiday period.
The fun-filled afternoon included inflatables, delicious food, and a variety of family-friendly activities, as well as offering an opportunity for politicians, supporters and community partners to meet the children, young people, and families the Trust work with.
Speaking after the event, Douglas Alexander MP said:
“It was great to drop in to Preston Lodge High School today to learn more about the brilliant work being done by the Pennypit Trust team to supporting local kids (and their parents) through their summer holidays activities programme.”
