Douglas Alexander MP has visited Dunbar Leisure Pool to hold advice surgeries for constituents and meet members of pool’s staff team and hear more about its latest developments.
Mr Alexander met with management and staff at the Leisure Pool, which opened in 1992, and was shown some of the recent improvements that have been made, which included extensive refurbishments to the flume staircase and some of the pool features.
Speaking after the visit, Douglas Alexander MP said:
“Since it was opened by the Rt. Hon. John Smith MP in 1992, the Dunbar Leisure Pool has been a brilliant community resource much loved by local residents and tourists alike.
“It was great to visit, hold advice surgeries for constituents, and discuss the facility’s latest developments with members of the pool’s dedicated Enjoy Leisure team.”
